When Victory Belongs to the Team, Not Just Speed

  • When Victory Belongs to the Team, Not Just Speed

The results sheet shows only where a team finishes. In endurance racing, however, the most important story often begins when everything stops going according to plan. This year's "Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook" proved exactly that.

Last year's champions – car No. 53 "Bio-Circle & HSG by SWAG" – arrived in Palanga with one clear objective: to fight for another victory. Their preparation reflected those ambitions. Winning the Super Pole session and securing pole position meant they would start the race from the very front of the grid.

But endurance racing rarely follows the script.

Already on the opening lap, brake failure forced the car back into the pits. Two unscheduled stops meant not only valuable time lost, but also having to restart the fight from the very back of the field. It is in moments like these that a team's true strength becomes evident.

The professionalism of the mechanics, the focus of drivers Mantas Matukaitis, Karolis Jovaiša and Egidijus Gražys, the decisions made by team manager Mindaugas Valiūnas, and the determination of the entire crew made it possible not only to recover but also to secure second place in the GT3 class. At first glance, it may seem like just another podium finish. Yet, considering how the race began, the result tells a far more remarkable story.

Why is Bio-Circle a partner of this team?

Motorsport and industry have more in common than it may seem at first glance. In both, success depends on far more than technology alone. It is driven by people, by the ability to make the right decisions under pressure, execute every task with precision, and remain focused even when circumstances change within seconds.

Working alongside industrial companies every day, we see the same reality. Whether in manufacturing, maintenance or equipment servicing, things do not always go according to plan. True professionalism is demonstrated not when everything runs smoothly, but in the way a team responds to unexpected challenges.

That is why our partnership with "Bio-Circle & HSG by SWAG" represents far more than a logo on a racing car. It is built on shared values – professionalism, responsibility, teamwork and the determination to keep moving forward, regardless of the obstacles.

Congratulations to the entire team on another outstanding performance in Palanga. We wish them every success in the races ahead.
